Deborah J. Lewis-Virges was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Deborah J. Lewis-Virges is a former High-Tech Marketing Executive with over 20 years of expert marketing, management and business development experience supplemented with 12 years of successful entrepreneurial endeavors. In 1992 she was commissioned by the City of Los Angeles Community Development Agency to develop several highly acclaimed and strategic small business enterprises in the Greater Los Angeles area for which she was recognized for by Success Guide Magazine.

Deborah completed her undergraduate studies at Wayne State University in Detroit where she majored in Political Science and Communications. She has earned and will receive her MDiv in Theological Studies with a dual concentration in Church Development and Christian Ethics from Fuller Theological Seminary in June 2018.

Deborah responded to the call to ministry in 2010 and was ordained in the AMEZ Church in October of 2014. She was appointed to her first pastorate in July of 2014 and is presently serving as Pastor of Saint Mark AMEZ in East Palo, CA where the membership has seen a 500% increase under her leadership. She is a vibrant and passionate preacher, caring and compassionate servant leader who is committed to Serving God by Serving others. She is married to her partner in ministry and life, Clyde and have two adult sons, Tyree and Jacob.
